Description
Taking pre-orders for Royal Walnut Moth ova! My captive bred males are starting to emerge and some of the female pupae are getting close. I will be taking the females out for wild males to pair with, so the ova up for grabs will be good quality F1. I have a lot of pupae and I want to get an idea of how many pairings I'm going to need to get.
The larvae accept a wide range of hosts plants including Black Walnut, English Walnut, Pecan, Sweetgum, Persimmon and any of the numerous hickory species found in the US. I have used all of these hosts over the years with great success, but Black Walnut will grow them the largest.
