Description
I'm offering cocoons of Callosamia promethea from caterpillars reared in sleelves on Tulip Tree and Wild Cherry at a low population density. All of my livestock is grown personally by me in the most clean and humane conditions.
Beware of 'flipped' cocoons which are becoming increasingly common on today's market. These are cocoons that have exchanged hands multiple times in pursuit of monetary profit. I understand the business aspect, but unfortunately, drastic temperature and humidity changes often experienced while being shipped numerous times, potentially rough handling, and often unknown growing conditions equate to a lower quality cocoon. Cocoons are $18 each and $12 shipping on all orders. Order 5 promethea cocoons and the sixth is free.
