Description
I have a single, unsexed pupa of Dryocampa kendalli remaining, from my breeding this past season. If anyone experienced in crossing Ceratocampinae is willing to try to pair this with rubicunda in the spring, I would be more than happy to provide it.
All I ask in exchange is a specimen or two of the ensuing hybrid, assuming it gets that far.
kendalli feeds on Ascelus pavia in the wild, and I raised these on A. sylvatica, if that is helpful to anyone potentially interested.
I would prefer to see some of your other hybrid work prior to sending this pupa, of course.
Anyone who I know of already gets first dibs on this. I am mainly just looking to do something useful with this moth, and hybridization is one of my primary interests.
Please contact me at jhoopes134@gmail.com if interested.
Thank you!
