ANNOUNCEMENT, SCAM ALERT

Beware that "Kerby Anderson" is a scam account. I tried to purchase some chinese oak moth cocoons from them. The first red flag was that they had me pay an account that was a completely different name than Kerby Anderson through zelle. I then recieved an email after they said they had shipped the cocoons from a company called Global Cargo Airlines saying that I had to pay a $15.50 customs fee even though the cocoons were being shipped domestic (Arizona to Ohio). The company asked me to pay them through a website called Remitly which required my bank information including routing and account number. When I pushed back the seller became very dismissive and argumentative. I checked back on insect classifieds to make sure nobody else would try to purchase from them and they took down their listing. I just wanted to post so people could be aware and avoid any listings from a Kerby Anderson.

Beware of scammers and happy rearing y'all!
